cd (change directory)
Chapter 1 has familiarized you with the cd command, which changes the present working directory. Here I just want to add a handy shortcut that I use on a daily basis:
This will take you to the directory that you last visited. The shortcut can spare you retyping a long path name or searching the command history for the cd command that got you there. If you use cd without arguments, it will take you to your home directory.
